If you ever had a doubt that the inimitable Jamie Drake has a bit of a Midas touch when it comes to design, this space should be enough to squash it: literally and figuratively. This New York City dining room is dripping in gold—from the soft shade of the upholstered walls and the ornate gild of the antique mirror to the marigold hue of the Donghia fabric on the Helene Aumont chairs and the striking chandelier from Bernd Goeckler Antiques. We’d love to be guests at any fete hosted here, large or small, but while we’re waiting on our invite, we made ourselves busy recreating the look with these picks:
From left: Chandelier from Bernd Goeckler Antiques; paint from Donald Kaufman Color; armchair from Eric Brand.
