house guest: sense of discovery.

house guest: sense of discovery.

It’s not unusual for there to come a time when even the thing you love the most starts getting a little tired, for us it normally happens around season 3 of any new show on the CW, but it was a little more serious than that for Los Angeles-based Nick Berman. The designer laid down his sketchpad and his fabric swatches and mood boards for a while to work exclusively on his popular furniture line, Berman Rosetti. Luckily for the homeowners of this Sun Valley, Idaho, residence, though, he picked them back up just in time to infuse their traditional mountain abode with the light and airy composition it so desperately needed. The home found a new aesthetic, and in that process, Berman found himself again: “It was an amazing, very joyful experience. It made me rediscover way I became a designer in the first place.” And we’re so glad he did, because that means we have pictures to share with you. Let us know what you think of the project in the comments!
