It‘s safe to say that the slow summer is long gone, and the design industry is booming with events/happenings. I kicked off the season exploring all new fabulous designs at Forty-One Madison’s Fall Table Top! Showroom after showroom featured lavish tablescapes to showcase industry professional’s latest collections. While mentally I'm not ready to wrap my mind around the Holidays, I am certainly getting big ideas after getting lost in a sea of spectacular collections. Here are some of my favorites from the day. Much like fashion, tableware is getting the retro touch! I think these Adrien Rovero “tuperware”-esque items from the Opercule collection are fabulous!
Unfortunately, I am going to have to wait until after the holiday rush to get this Michael Aram Vincent Collection serving set, but they will be worth the wait!
I cannot get over how sweet the Easter collection by Villeroy & Boch is.
This L’Objet swan was too outrageous for words. I loved it so much I actually made somebody photograph me holding it, but don’t worry, I will spare you the cheesiness.
Marchesa used its fashion designs to inspire their collection, so of course it was nothing short of stunning (table top below).
Kate Spade’s bar scape was too much fun! I want everything, and plan on giving these “Mine, Yours, Ours, His, Hers” cups to all of my friends who are getting engaged (by the day).
This lightweight Rogaska duo decanter is not only functional, but serves as a beautiful accent to any table!
One word – Hermes.
Mottahedeh’s peacock collection looks more like a work of art than dinnerware!
From breathtaking mirrors, to this table sized crystal chess set, beauty was found all over the Waterford showroom.
